Foresight for Learning-based Task and Motion Planning (Ongoing)
Bartłomiej Cieślar, Jorge Mendez, Tomás Lozano-Pérez, Leslie Kaelbling, and others

poster / short talk

Stabilizing the backtracking search for Learning-based Task and Motion Planning using a task plan conditioned feasibility classifier

fused-probfx: Algebraic Effects production-ready based Probabilistic Programming Language
Bartłomiej Cieślar Jordan Hall, Robbie Buxton, Ethan Range, Charlie Lidbury, Oliver Killane

project page / report / presentation / library code / road geometry code

Based on a previous algebraic effects based probabilistic programming language ProbFx but evaluated on and improved for a task of road geometry discovery using Markov Chain Monte Carlo

Differentiable Metric for cultural alignment of non-English autoregressive LLMs (Ongoing)
Bartłomiej Cieślar Willem Guter Pragya Neupane

Research project for the MIT NLP course. Based on previous work on measuring cultural alignment but making the metric differentiable thanks to using a difference of cross-entropies between the model and target cultures instead of counting-based methods.
